India & Papua New Guinea Marks 46th Years of Diplomatic Ties

 INDIA & PNG MARKS 46TH YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC TIES This year marks the 46th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Papua New Guinea and the Republic of India since formalizing diplomatic ties on the 19th of May 1976. Papua New Guinea Deputy Prime Minister John Rosso highlighted this when speaking at the 76th Republic of India Independence in Port Moresby, last night. DPM Rosso also  says Republic of India has attracted  many countries to engage with them for the purpose of perusing common development aspirations and partnership and Papua New Guinea is no exception. ”And we deeply value our bilateral relationship with India as a key development partner contributing towards nation building and development of our country,” said Rosso.   Meantime, Deputy Prime Minister on behalf of the PNG government congratulated  the Government and the people of Republic of India on their 76th Independence Day Anniversary.
