PNG PM Marape Arrives in Bankoko, Thailand for APEC 2022

Papua New Guinea  Prime Minister Hon. James Marape arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, today (November 16, 2022) for APEC 2022. PM Marape was accorded a red-carpet welcome upon his arrival in Bangkok from Singapore. He was accompanied by Mrs Rachael Marape. PM Marape met with members of the Papua New Guinea delegation in Bangkok today to prepare for bilaterals and the APEC Economic Leaders Meeting. PM Marape announces Minister William Duma as acting - PNG Prime Minister

 PNG Prime Minister Hon. James Marape has thanked all 118 MPs for their support over the last two weeks, culminating in yesterday’s (December 2, 2022) marathon session in which the 2023 Budget was overwhelmingly passed. He also announced that he is leaving for Sydney, Australia, today (December 3, 2022) to attend the 16th PNG Mining and Petroleum Investment Conference. John Rosso was out of the country on duty travel in Europe and Africa, and in their absence, United Resource Party Leader and State Enterprises Minister Hon. Girl allegedly sexually assaulted by Police Officers in Port Moresby over a lost Phone

A distraught father from PNG’s Okapa District but now  living in Port Moresby has  reached out to the media to report that his daughter was physically and sexually abused by police men from Port Moresby’s Waigani Police Station, NBC news reports.  The alleged attack was over a lost phone, which the girl in her early twenties was said to have stolen. She and few others attended to clean up a police officer’s house which he moved into.  The victim with her hair cut-off by the  police officer  [Photo by NBC News] The report from the father is that the officer and others arrived in a private vehicle and took matters into their own hands after picking her up at her house yesterday in the morning.  She was physically attacked, her hair chopped of with a bushknife and she was sexually penetrated with objects. She was forced to open her mouth with one officer peeing into her mouth and she was forced to swallow it.  She was then dropped of at her house but her family forced the officers to take

In addition to providing off-road style trim and fittings, these Extreme variants will come with an electronic control that adjusts the electronic stability control (ESC) settings to maximise the available traction on loose surfaces. The Jogger will also offer the option of a Sleep Pack which provides a camping bed format for the inside of the vehicle. Both the Extreme trim models and the Jogger Sleep Pack will be available in Ireland from May.
