 The Prime Minister for the Republic of India, His Excellency, Shri Narendra Modi, arrived in Port Moresby last night for the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) summit. Indian Prime Minister and his delegation were welcomed at the APEC terminal at Jackson International Airport by PNG traditional dancing groups Solomon Islands Prime Minister, Hon. Manasseh Sogavare, Samoa Prime Minister, Hon. Fiame Naomi Mataafa, Vanuatu Prime Minister, Hon. Alatoi Ismael Kalsakau, and New Caledonia President, His Excellency Louis Mapou, as well as other Pacific Island leaders, arrived after lunch yesterday for the summit.
