Marianville and St Charles Lwuanga Secondary Schools top the country again

 All girls school, Marianville Secondary School has topped the country again in the Grade 12 National Examinations.  Last year, the school was ranked first in the country country and it has maintained the top position this year as well.  Marianville Secondary school is  an all girls  school  run by the OLSH  Sister of the Catholic Church.  Marianville and St Charles Lwuanga Secondary Schools  top country again  The School is located in Bomana in Port Moresby North-East.  St Gabriel’s Technical Secondary School in North-Fly  got the second position while on third spot was SDA run Paglum secondary school in  the Western Highlands Province. Passam  topped the School of Excellence in the country and PNG Paradise college topped the Private run schools.  Meanwhile, St Charles Lwuanga Secondary School topped the Grade Examinations. Maravanthe Beach: The Highway Rider’s Favorite Pit Stop

Many years ago, when it used to be a 2 lane highway, it used to be everybody’s favorite pit stop . It didn’t matter whether you were a truck driver, a motorcyclist or a family traveling by car, you wanted to stop here, feel the breeze, hear the sound of waves thrashing next to the road and soak in the stunning views of two water bodies straddling either side of the national highway. Today, the 2 lane highway has been replaced by a 4 lane highway. And in spite of the change, this place still continues to be the highway rider’s favorite pit stop. I am talking about Maravanthe beach located by the National Highway 66 on the West coast of India. To the West of the highway lies the Arabian Sea and the sound, smell and breeze of the ocean. And to the East lies the Sowparnika river that runs parallel to the highway before it travels south and joins the Panchagangavali river and dumps into the Arabian Sea.
