PNG PM Explains high Inflation in the country

Papua New Guinea, like the rest of the world, is being hard hit by skyrocketing inflation – impacting greatly upon citizens with no end in sight. Prime Minister James Marape has said that higher prices of fuel and goods are expected to remain reflecting the impact of the Russia – Ukraine war.  The National Government earlier introduced a K611 million assistance package which includes the 10%  GST cuts to specific goods, fuel prices subsidy, the inclusion of “lifting of the income tax threshold and fully funding school project fee costs in education for this year. Prime Minister Marape told NBC news – a lot of people did not benefit earlier from the subsidy due to agencies being slow in implementing it.  Marape says the subsidy should be fully implemented now with further assistance through a supplementary budget. Kibber: The Village of the Snow Leopard

It is one of the highest villages in the world . It was once the highest polling station in India, before losing the numero uno position to Tashigang. It is one of the highest motorable villages in the world. Spiti valley’s Kibber holds many such accolades, but the one that makes it really special is the fact that it home to the endangered snow leopard. Located in the high Himalayas of Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 14, 200 feet, Kibber is primarily an agrarian village. Range Rover revises Velar

Range Rover have revised their Velar model, a mid-size in the luxury brand’s range, writes Brian Byrne. Externally there’s a new grille, and newly-styled LED headlights, and there have been detail changes to the rear including a new bumper. Inside the car gets a new single centre console-located touchscreen in curved glass. Powertrains continue to be options from petrol and diesel, with mild hybrid technology and a plug-in hybrid that is rated to have a greater EV range of up to 64km. That version has a combined power output of 404hp. The revised car is now available to order in Ireland priced from €91,680.
