Grand Chief Sir Bob Bofeng Dadae, Governor General of Papua New Guinea, has executed on behalf of the State, multi-million Kina contracts for roads and bridges construction for Morobe, Eastern and Western Highlands provinces. The contract agreements fall under the Sustainable Highlands Highway Investment Program Tranche 2 and are for the following: 1. Upgrading and Sealing of road from Yaware to 6km mark along Tambul Kotol Road in Western Highlands and Southern Highlands provinces. The contract is valued at K17, 707, 078. 29, including GST and contingency component and will be funded by the national Government. The National Executive Council has approved the awarding of the contract to China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (PNG) Limited.  2.
