President Ian Tarutia says business houses anticipate a positive outcome from this election, however, they do not want to see any further delays in the processes. The Chamber also supports the call made by Transparency International and the Catholic Church to stop the blame game issue and focus on delivering a successful election outcome. Papua New Guinea ready to host Indian Prime Minister Modi

 Prime Minister and Acting Foreign Affairs Minister Hon. James Marape says Papua New Guinea is ready to host Indian Prime Minister Hon. Narendra Modi from May 21-22. He said this after a high-level meeting with Indian High Commissioner to PNG H.E. Imbasekar Sundaramurhti and Chief Liaison Officer H.E. Visvas Sapkal, on Friday, May 12, 2023, to discuss preparations for the visit.
