Vegan Egyptian Food Guide

Veganism in Egypt can be a struggle, with every other person offering you a camel ride (so not vegan) and everyone else offering you camel to eat, how can you cope? Pretty easily with this Vegan Egyptian food guide: 1. Vegan Egypt Vegan Egyptian Food for Breakfast Finding a vegan breakfast in Egypt is surprisingly easy. I stayed at an okay 3-star hotel and their buffet breakfast had an abundance of accidentally vegan options: Mashed potato, fava beans, aubergine, Egyptian falafel, flatbreads and more. I’d definitely stay there again though because despite the lies they were really nice, the breakfas

ICAC launches Strategy to Combat Corruption in PNG

The Papua New Guinea (PNG) Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) launched its Anti-Corruption and Integrity Strategy 2023-2025 in Port Moresby this week. The two-year Strategy is a roadmap for combating corruption within ICAC. The document is an outcome of a Memorandum of Understanding between ICAC and its partner Transparency International signed in 2021. In a small but significant ceremony, the document was officially launched. According to ICAC Interim Chairman, Thomas Eluh, ICAC foresees that the threat of corruption is not only from the outside but also within, thus it is critically important for ICAC to ensure that they have systems and processes that can help them eradicate corruption. The document ties ICAC down to four key objectives. Mr. Eluh called for greater collaboration among its partners to fight corruption in the country collectively. Transparency International Chief Executive Officer, Arianne Kassman described the launch of the two-year strategy as a milest

Traveling Eastern Europe

Eastern Europe and the Baltics are places left undiscovered to many travellers. The lands of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc were, for many years, difficult to access for many tourists. Even if you were permitted entry, you were likely to be watched strictly by government assigned tour guides. Those days, however, are long gone. Today thousands of people visit these fascinating countries every year. Look below for some tips on the major cities of this fascinating part of the world. Moscow Perhaps more than any other city in the region, Moscow is a place that inspires awe in the hearts and minds of people around the world. Once the centre of the Muscovite aristocracy, then the centre point of the Russian Empire, and latterly the capital of global communism, Moscow is a truly fascinating place. Like many metropolises, Moscow can cause shock and wonder in equal measure. A note for when you are travelling to parts of the world that you are unfamiliar with, such as Russia: money tr
