Mardin: Gateway to Mesopotamia

This historical city located in south eastern Turkey is the gateway to Mesopotamia. It lies at the center of the homeland of the Syriacs, an ancient race who trace their origin to the Akkadian empire, established in Mesopotamia around 2200 BCE. It also served as the capital of the Turkic Artuqid dynasty between the 12th and the 15th centuries. Suzuki launches full-hybrid S-Cross

Suzuki has launched a full-hybrid version of its S-Cross here at a starting price of €31,895, writes Brian Byrne. The car is in addition to the mild-hybrid versions which has been on sale since a year ago. The hybrid system has been developed by Suzuki themselves, and includes an automated manual transmission. It was introduced last year in the brand’s top-seller, the Vitara. In a revised product offering, all automatic S-Crosses will have the full-hybrid while manuals will be powered by the mild hybrid powertrain.
