Where to Eat in Boracay, Philippines

Where to eat in Boracay? Boracay Philippines isn’t just about the most beautiful beaches in the world and the nicest people I’ve ever met, no, Boracay food is some of the best food I’ve ever tasted! You’re going to be spoilt for choice, so where should you eat in Boracay? Whenever there’s a lot of choice, I encourage everyone to try eating vegan – vegan food is healthy, it’s good for the planet and (most of all) it’s the only type of food that’s cruelty-free. If you love animals like me, please don’t eat them! ❤ Fish are friends, not food 🙂  At first look, vegan Boracay looks like it’s going to be impossible, with most restaurants and hotels boasting all you can eat seafood and grill buffets, or simply displaying their Lechon Baboy* outside (*a traditional Filipino dish, aka a whole roast pig). But, with A LOT of help from my Filipino friends, I came up with this list of where to eat vegan in Boracay (all of which have n...

PNG Government vows to combat Corruption

The Marape Government has vowed to work closely with key government agencies in combating corruption in Papua New Guinea.  PNG’s Acting Prime Minister John Rosso said this at the launch of the new Annual Statement by the Ombudsman Commission in Port Moresby last Friday. The 2021 corruption perception index by Transparency International has indicated a slight improvement from 142 out of 180 countries in 2020 to a rank of 124 last year. However, more work is needed. Mr. Rosso said the government is keen in working closely with key government bodies to improve its ranking on the corruption perception index.  The acting Prime Minister said corruption boils down to the attitude of individuals which needs a complete change. Mr. Rosso s...

Two SP PNG Hunters players have been rewarded for standout performances across the opening six rounds of the QRL Hostplus Cup competition. Hunters centre Rodrick Tai and fullback Morea Morea have both been invited to train with The Dolphins NRL squad over the next month as they continue their rugby league development. Rodrick Tai [Photo by SP Hunters Media] Tai, who spent the offseason in Redcliffe under the watchful eye of Wayne Bennett, rejoins The Dolphins training squad this week on the back of a compelling start to the Hostplus Cup season. The strike centre has two tries and an average 129 running metres from four games this year to consistently be one of the Hunters best. At just 21 years old, Morea joins Tai at The Dolphins this week in what will be his first taste of NRL-level coaching. The young fullback has been a revelation for the Hunters in season 2023 with four tries, four assists and 126 average running metres from five appearances. He is still a raw talent and will ben...
