How to Plant and Grow the Star Magnolia - Magnolia stellata

The wonderful Star Magnolia – Magnolia stellata is arguably the best of the early, small ornamental flowering trees in the business. Native to the stream-sides and moist, boggy areas of Japan largest island, Honshū, Magnolia stellata is one of the smallest of the magnolia species and is a great addition for the suburban garden. However its most noticeable and ornamental feature are its blooms. It flowers very early on in the spring making it one of the first trees to break flower bud, the flowers are large and conspicuous and it produces its blooms before the leaves break bud which all together make for a very striking show – hence its ongoing popularity. Although not from the Ericaceae family it will require acidic to neutral soil conditions so plant in a deep hole backfilled with ericaceous compost.  There will be no Prime Minister and National Executive Council for Papua New Guinea after today- Friday, 5th of August, 2022. SP PNG Hunters Coach Church to depart

 The SP PNG Hunters can confirm reports that Head Coach Matthew Church will depart the club and has informed management and players that he will take up a new coaching position with fellow QRL Hostplus Cup club Brisbane Tigers, starting in 2023.  The news marks the end of a two-year period for Church as Head Coach of the SP PNG Hunters, during which time he oversaw and assisted in the club’s relocation to Runaway Bay, Gold Coast due to the COVID pandemic.  SP PNG Hunters Chairman Stan Joyce CSM observed that Church was instrumental in the club’s continued participation in the Queensland-based Hostplus Cup competition. “The SP PNG Hunters have faced unprecedented challenges as an organisation over the last few seasons but under Church’s direction the club and players have always demonstrated great resilience, both on and off the field,” Joyce said.  SP PNG Hunters CEO Scott Barker echoed Joyce’s sentiments.  “Church understands what it takes to coach a successful rugby league club and w
