PNG's Porgera Mine to reopen in June but Pressing Outstanding issues yet to be resolved : Ipatas

 By By Mortimer Yangharry | FM 100  PNG’s veteran Enga Governor Sir Peter Ipatas told the Enga Provincial Assembly on Monday afternoon that the delay in the reopening of the Porgera mine is not necessarily caused by the national government nor the provincial government but by pressing issues at hand. SP PNG Hunters looking forward for First Home Game

 The SP PNG Hunters will be playing their first home game at the Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby against the Suzuki Brisban Tigers on the 25th of March, which is this Saturday. The Hunters will be looking to make a mark in the HostPlus round three at home for the 2023 season. Assistant Coach Paul Aiton in an interview with FM 100  today said his boys are looking forward to the game especially the new players who will be playing in front of family and fans in the Hunters colours for the first time. SP PNG Hunters player Brendon Nima “After two weeks in Australia for rounds one and two, the boys are really excited to be back home and are looking forward to playing in front of their home fans” Aiton said. New GLC arrives in Ireland

The second generation Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV has now arrived in Ireland at a starting price of €80,310, writes Brian Byrne. The new car is longer and has a wider track than the outgoing version and a 70-litre increase brings boot capacity to 620 litres. It will be available as a mild-hybrid in petrol and diesel, and plug-in hybrids in petrol and diesel which the carmaker rates at more than 129km of EV range (general PHEV real world experience is usually less — ED). The first generation of the GLC was launched in 2016 and a facelift was revealed in 2019. A coupe variant was launched the same year.  The best-selling model in the Mercedes-Benz range for the past two years, the car achieved 2.6 million units sales globally through its first generation iteration.
