 Somoa has down  England  27 – 26 in extra time to book a  historical Rugby League World Cup Grand final spot.  It is the first time in Rugby League history that  a nation outside Australia, New Zealand and England has won a semi final  to book a grand final spot in a Rugby League World Cup. Samoa will take on Australia in the Rugby League World Cup grand final  At half-time Samoa was leading 14 points to 10.  In the second, the score seesawed with England taking the lead at one point.  The game drew at 26 – 26 on full-time following a  late try from England.
