ABILLION, THE BEST VEGAN APP

There have been more and more good apps for vegans out there ( Happy Cow  &  Vanilla Bean  for vegan places to eat, Food Monster  & Forks Over Knives for vegan recipes, Dr. Greger’s Daily Dozen & the 21-Day Vegan Kickstart for vegan diet trackers) but we feel like we’ve just found the best vegan app of them all – or a wonder addition to this list anyway. I guess the challenge is familiar to all vegans: ever been to a restaurant that had no vegan options? Just a salad? Or not even that – just a Caesar salad that you could order without the grilled chicken (but still had to pay full price)? Academics taken hostage in PNG's Hela, Police Operations underway to rescue them

The Royal Papua New Guinea (RPNGC) is responding to confirmed reports of people being detained by armed criminals in the vicinity of Fogoma’iu Village, Hela/Southern Highlands provinces. Police Commissioner David Manning said he has been updated by Deputy Commissioner and Chief of Police Operations, Dr Philip Mitna, on negotiations to secure the release of the people that have been taken captive, with police authorised to use all necessary force to free those being held. Commissioner Manning said, “I have been briefed on the situation in which one foreign national and three PNG university students are being held by criminals in the border region of Southern Highlands, Hela and Western Provinces. “This is a delicate situation and police, in coordination with other security elements, are engaged in an operation to enable the safe release of the people involved. This is a remote area and air support has been approved.” Commissioner Manning said police are authorised to use the full force

The book is good. The glossy photos – the details in them as if the creatures were about to leap off the pages – were just perfect! I just wish all the letters were represented by the appropriate creature. Don’t get me wrong – most of them are, but some aren’t. Like N is for nocturnal creatures (which is more the category than an actual creat
