BEST VEGAN BOOKS FOR BECOMING (AND STAYING) VEGAN

Vegan Books. Are there two finer words in the English language? Maybe, but not in my opinion, and it’s definitely better than cellar door (haha fu Tolkien). In this blog post we are going to be looking at the best books for vegans, no matter whether you’re a newbie or an old-hat, no matter if you’re looking for cookbooks, books on how to go or be vegan, whatever you like I’ll give it to you (o-er). ALSO, we’re going to be discussing the intricacies of travelling with books because this is a vegan travel blog yo! I called this blog post ‘best vegan books for becoming (and staying) vegan. The becoming part is clear – these are my personal favourites on how to go vegan – ones I used myself back in the day, and ones that I’ve read since (gotta keep up-to-date, also, I’m a nerd). Review: Peugeot 308 PHEV - Trish Whelan, Irish Car

Peugeot’s new 308 small family car is the latest version of the hugely successful nameplate with more than seven million worldwide sales over the generations, writes Trish Whelan.  The new 308 is built on a multi-power platform developed to incorporate a petrol engine along with an electric motor whilst preserving space on board and boot volume. Peugeot were very brave in their design continuing the model as a hatchback and bucking the current trend of upscaling cars to crossovers or SUVs. The result is a car that looks dynamic from every angle. And gorgeous!  The change in style includes an extended wheelbase that stretches the car’s silhouette and offers more space for rear passengers. A 20

Sizzling Sixteen (Stephanie Plum) St. Martin’s Press, 320p, Isbn-0312383304 I generally always look forward to getting a good laugh with a Plum book in my hand. But the last few ones (excluding 15 which I missed reading for some mysterious reason?! I’ll be reading and blogging it soon, btw, thanks to St.Martins who shot over a copy as soon as they realized I’d missed it – Thanks!!) barely coaxed a few smiles from me. However the long lasting effect of the initial books in this series (laugh out loud, rolling on the floor kind) are such that to date I pick up a Plum book with an anticipatory grin. Thank the good lord, this one does not disappoint – not entirely. Read more »
