VW outlines ID.7 at CES

This is a camouflaged version of the next Volkswagen ID car, the ID.7 large saloon which will debut this year along with a tourer version, writes Brian Byrne. The car is the key reveal for the maker at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, opening to the public today. It’s the first time in six years that VW has exhibited at the CES, which has become a showcase for high-tech cars from several manufacturers. The ID.7 will have a rated range of 700km, and is expected to be available at the end of this year for 2024 deliveries in Ireland. Prices and specifications will be provided closer to that time.

One such plant species are the magnificent Gunneras – in particular Gunnera manicata. In this video English horticulturist Simon explains a very simple method of how to protect the delicate crown which can easily be damaged by a hard frost. Now you may be able to get away without frost protection on large, established specimens in the milder regions of the UK, but be aware that young plants, or specimens planted in the north of the country can be killed off by sustained hard frosts!
