At least, eight  people are dead after the 7.3 magnitude earthquake that rocked  Papua New Guinea’s East Sepik Province on Monday. The LLG President there Emil Kongian told NBC News that of the three, a mother and child were killed in Kundiman village, and another woman passed away in Konmei village, as many were trying to seek medical attention. A 13-year old girl was also instantly killed by a falling timber as she was asleep when the earthquake hit. Many more sustained injuries from the massive earthquake.
