Vegan in Dubai Guide

Travelling to Dubai might not be at the top of your vegan bucket-list, maybe because you think it’s not so vegan-friendly food-wise, but probably because you’ve heard about the human right’s violations. It certainly wasn’t a place that I was interested in visiting, but when I was offered free flights there (I was working with an airline), I didn’t say no. 1. Is It Vegan to Visit Dubai? I learnt a lot from being there, and essentially if I avoided all countries I didn’t agree with, I would never travel anywhere – off the top of my head, I would never have visited Israel , Malaysia , the Philippines , Hungary , Serbia, the US, the UK and even places like Iceland. Talking to people who actually live there I heard the real facts from their real-life experiences. A lot of the things I learned I didn’t like. But I also learnt things I did like too. Not everything about the place is evil and, if nothing else, it’s a fascinating place. Gastronomically, being vegan in Dubai is great – there’s a

PNG Prime Minister contender James Marape says once his Pangu-coalition forms the new government, it will not waste time setting up its full cabinet at the earliest.  Pangu’s biggest coalition partner is the United Resource Party, with 11 Members, and led by Hagen Open re-elected MP William Duma.  Pangu has 17 coalition partners, and all independents declared so far have joined Pangu, bringing the Loloata camp number up to 82.  The number increases with the National Alliance’s Tony Wouwou for West Sepik Regional, declared this afternoon, with National Alliance a coalition partner.  With a high number confidence, Marape announced at Government House yesterday that the new government will announce its Full to Do list on the 7th of September and a Supplementary Budget will be delivered on the 8th of September.  Marape says this is the benefit of having a continuing government, because work was already started on reconstructing the country over the last three years, and they will build on

PNG Government vows to combat Corruption

The Marape Government has vowed to work closely with key government agencies in combating corruption in Papua New Guinea.  PNG’s Acting Prime Minister John Rosso said this at the launch of the new Annual Statement by the Ombudsman Commission in Port Moresby last Friday. Mr. Rosso says the government cannot tackle corruption alone, and needs a collective effort from every individual, including government agencies. Papua New Guinea is ranked among the top 50 countries in the world that’s been perceived as highly corrupted. The 2021 corruption perception index by Transparency International has indicated a slight improvement from 142 out of 180 countries in 2020 to a rank of 124 last year. However, more work is needed. Mr. Rosso said the government is keen in working closely with key government bodies to improve its ranking on the corruption perception index.  The acting Prime Minister said corruption boils down to the attitude of individuals which needs a complete change. Mr. Rosso stress

They are related to the famous Maasai tribe living in the Maasai Mara game reserve in Kenya. They are one of the more dominating tribes of north-central Kenya. Hope you enjoy these vibrant visuals of these gorgeous tribal people of Kenya. Above picture: The Samburu t
