International flights out of Port Moresby and Lae  in Papua New Guinea are affected after the National Airport Corporation (NAC) closed the at Jacksons International Airport and Lae Nadzab airports.  Airlines in PNG have advised the general public of the closure of airports and cancellation of flights. Air Niugini has informed  their customers  that early on Saturday morning(12th November), National Airports Corporation (NAC) advised that they had closed both Port Moresby and Nadzab airports for all flights.  NAC closes Port Moresby and Lae Airports, domestic and International Flights affected  [Photo by PNG Air] At 8:30am , NAC reopened Port Moresby airport for international flights only.
