Vegan Road Trip, USA

Planning a road trip is exciting and, more often than not, feels freer than planning a trip without a car – no need to book trains in advance or be restricted by strange, early bus times. Like in many areas of life, being vegan can add another layer of complications – it’s one thing to eat vegan at home but what if you’re in the middle of nowhere and there are no vegan friendly places? I’ve got you covered with this vegan road trip USA guide! Are Road Trips Even Vegan? First things first, are road trips even vegan? Is having a car even vegan? Two reasons stand out as to whether owning a car is vegan or not: firstly, cars tend to come clad in leather ( leather is not vegan ), but don’t worry, there are a few  non-leather cars out there for vegans . Secondly, I kind of feel like driving a car and polluting the environment generally isn’t very vegan. Many people become vegan for environmental reasons (e.g. livestock farming contributes 18% of greenhouse emissions worldwide), so driving a

HOW TO BE VEGAN ON SAFARI IN KENYA

Most of us vegans are animal lovers by nature (with the exception of people who purely do it because it’s healthier than not being vegan). And when it comes to dream travel experiences, most of us want to see animals in the wild, and many of us have grown up with fantasies of going on an African safari . But is it vegan to go on safari? And if it is, how can you make sure you get to eat vegan on your safari? We investigate. Is It Vegan To Go On Safari In Kenya? First things first, is it vegan to go on safari in Kenya – and really safari in general? The definition of veganism clearly states “Veganism: a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as possible and practical, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing, or any other purpose.” Now as far as food and clothing go, vegans are safe on safari (but if you’re worried check our below tips for eating vegan on safari). But what about the rest of the definition? Is safari exploiting or cruel to animals?

And Papua New Guinea showed they will be no pushovers with an impressive performance in Hull. The Orchids were in control throughout despite coach Ben Jeffries shuffling his pack, making three changes from the team that beat Canada. Their clinical attack was highlighted with a first points haul of over 60 points, already a huge improvement from 2017 where they scored just 1

Tropical Gardens UK: Exotic Garden Plants Winter Death and Disasters!

With spring around the corner it is time to deal with the death and disasters of our exotic garden plants. With the worst winter in at least ten years behind us we can finally assess the damage of our so-called cold-hardy tropical effect plants. Its not good as many of our overwintering plants in the greenhouse have failed along with a number of those left outside under protection. So we have a garden with plants that we know have died, yet still have many corms, tubers and bulbs which are still under the ground that we don’t know whether they have survived or not. However the warmer weather of spring is inevitable even though there is no sign of the freezing weather moving on. If you would like to watch more content like this and follow our garden journey as the year continues then why not consider subscribing to our YouTube channel ‘Walking Talking Gardeners’?
