International flights out of Port Moresby and Lae in Papua New Guinea are affected after the National Airport Corporation (NAC) closed the at Jacksons International Airport and Lae Nadzab airports. Airlines in PNG have advised the general public of the closure of airports and cancellation of flights. Air Niugini has informed their customers that early on Saturday morning(12th November), National Airports Corporation (NAC) advised that they had closed both Port Moresby and Nadzab airports for all flights. PX3 to Brisbane (and PX4 return) and PX80 to Honiara (and PX81 return) will operate but are significantly delayed as a consequence.
