PNG GG Signs Roads & Bridges Contracts

 H.E. Grand Chief Sir Bob Bofeng Dadae, Governor General of Papua New Guinea, has executed on behalf of the State, multi-million Kina contracts for roads and bridges construction for Morobe, Eastern and Western Highlands provinces. The contract agreements fall under the Sustainable Highlands Highway Investment Program Tranche 2 and are for the following: 1. Upgrading and Sealing of road from Yaware to 6km mark along Tambul Kotol Road in Western Highlands and Southern Highlands provinces. The contract is valued at K17, 707, 078. 29, including GST and contingency component and will be funded by the national Government. The National Executive Council has approved the awarding of the contract to China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (PNG) Limited.  2. Detailed Design Rehabilitation and Construction of Bridges Between Nadzab, Lae and Henganofi. Two SP PNG Hunters Players invited to Train with The Dolphins NRL Team

 Two SP PNG Hunters players have been rewarded for standout performances across the opening six rounds of the QRL Hostplus Cup competition. Hunters centre Rodrick Tai and fullback Morea Morea have both been invited to train with The Dolphins NRL squad over the next month as they continue their rugby league development. The strike centre has two tries and an average 129 running metres from four games this year to consistently be one of the Hunters best.
