PNG PM Marape appeals for Citizens to take Voting Seriously as Campaign winds down

Prime Minister, James Marape, has appealed to Papua New Guineans to take voting seriously, as the country goes to the polls next Monday.  He said the call in Kavieng today as campaigning ends tomorrow. “As campaigns draw to a close across the nation, Mr Marape appealed for peace and reflection over the weekend, before voting starts on Monday. He urged people to pray for God’s inspiration on the election process and the best outcome for PNG. He says God sees right through all motives and the best team of leaders for the next five years will emerge from the campaign and voting. Mr Marape says leaders must be elected to fix those challenges because the bucks stop with leaders, especially the person who becomes the Prime Minister. PNG Prime Minister Marape & Govornor General Sir Dadae to meet King Charles III in UK

Papua New Guinea Prime Minister, James Marape, and Governor General, Sir Bob Dadae, will have the opportunity to meet the newly proclaimed King, King Charles III tomorrow. The Prime Minister and the Governor General are in London for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. Their meeting with King Charles III coincides with P-N-G’s 47th Independence anniversary. The day of their meeting is significant as King Charles III was in PNG in 1975 (as Prince Charles)  to witness the young nation gain its Independence. Foreign Affairs Minister, Justin Tkatchenko, confirms says their meeting with King Charles III is also historic in itself. Kia reveals more of EV9

Kia’s next all-electric model the EV9 SUV will be launched in Ireland in the last quarter of this year, writes Brian Byrne. The car will have a three-row seating configuration and  in details just released will have a target range of 541km, with the capability of ultra fast charging at suitable 800-volt stations. A feature of the EV9’s connectivity will be the option for owners to buy specific extra features with over-the-air software upgrades.  The EV9 is designed to offer Level 3 driver assistance in the future for suitable markets.
