The SP PNG Hunters will be playing their first home game at the Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby against the Suzuki Brisban Tigers on the 25th of March, which is this Saturday.
The Hunters will be looking to make a mark in the HostPlus round three at home for the 2023 season.
Assistant Coach Paul Aiton in an interview with FM 100 today said his boys are looking forward to the game especially the new players who will be playing in front of family and fans in the Hunters colours for the first time.

“After two weeks in Australia for rounds one and two, the boys are really excited to be back home and are looking forward to playing in front of their home fans” Aiton said.
After opening the season with a win and a draw last weekend, the hunters are hoping to seal this round in Port Moresby with a win and to share the win with the people here in Papua New Guinea.
Hunters number 68 and a senior player, Brendon Nima said he is looking forward to the home game saying homes games give the team more advantage to win.
He also encourage new and young hunters to listen and follow simple instructions and always ask questions.
Aiton said that after the draw last weekend, the boys will be looking to work on themselves and how they can build up from their last weekend game in order to secure the win at home this weekend.
Meanwhile former Hunters Head Coach Matt Church side will be having some NRL experience players who will be looking to give the home side a tough encounter on Saturday.
