PNG PM James Marape Denies Being Chased out of Wewak

Papua New Guinea Prime Minister and Tari-Pori MP James Marape has denied he was chased out of Wewak in East Sepik province, where he and his Pangu Pati members have set up camp in an attempt to form the new government. In a statement today, Mr. Marape called on fake news peddlers to apologise to the Somare family and people of Wewak and East Sepik Province. Papua New Guinea to have a Medical University

Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape on Sunday night (December 11, 2022) announced that the government is moving to ensure that a standalone University for medical studies is established by 2025.  He was speaking at a ball night which marked the end of training for the final year medical students’ class of 2022.
