Vegan EcoTravel – it’s a question as old as time* itself: do you get the vegan option that’s covered in plastic or the non-vegan option that’s not covered in plastic? Which is worse for the environment? Which is worse for your body? And your soul? And the animals’ souls? PNGTPA Highlights Re-Opening of Cruise Tourism Papua New Guinea

The re-opening of cruise borders in Papua New Guinea welcomed the arrival of its first maiden cruise ship in Alotau, on Friday 7th October 2022, by the stunning Pacific Encounter. The cruise ship had a total of 2400 cruise tourists on board that arrived from Carins Australia, with Alotau being its first port of call in PNG waters. The cruise ship was escorted into the wharf area by traditional war canoes then followed by local sing-sing groups that danced and sang to the cruise tourists as they disembarked to go on their pre-booked tours or independent tours. The Milne Bay Tourism Bureau also had Volunteer Youth Ambassadors (VYA) on the ground ready and waiting to assist any tourist that needed a guide to tour the town. The official welcome ceremony was held at the wharf area to commemorate the cruise ship’s arrival. Nambawan Super Opens up Branch in Kuinga, Western Province

 Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) officially opened its Kiunga branch in North Fly District of Western Province yesterday (Wednesday 02 February 2023) The opening was witnessed by Mr Paul Sayer, Chief Executive Officer of NSL and NSL’s member representatives in Kiunga including nurses, police and teachers. The Kiunga branch, waa once established at the Post Office since 2012 and serving more than 5000 members has now been relocated to WP Construction Limited building in the center of Kiunga town as part of NSL’s continued focus on improving member access to superannuation services in rural centres around the country.
