Papua New Guinea’s Minister for International Trade and Investment, Richard Maru has welcomed the Australian Government’s support to work with Papua New Guinea on the development of Special Economic Zones or SEZs in the country. Minister Maru appreciated the offer during his meeting with the Australian High Commissioner to PNG, Jon Philp in Port Moresby. Maru has been in plans to work with the Australian Government and investors in the Manus Special Economic Region and the Western Province SEZ. He’s keen on working with the Australian Government and investors to look into the development of the feed industry, cotton industry, cattle industry, and chicken industry of PNG. Maru is adamant PNG needs more competition across all industries and new industries to replace imports, create jobs, and create wealth for its citizens. The typica exotic garden has little to show in the spring so wee went to RHS Wisley garden to see what their top 5 five exotic plants would be in March. English Horticulturist Lorna investigated what is arguably one of the UK’s finest exotic gardens and deceided on her top 5 five exootic plants at this time of year. These included two palms, two conifers and an evergreen shrub, all of which stood out during this visit.
