I’ve always wanted to disappear. Have you? Maybe just for a day or even a weekend. The heroine in my latest novel, Untraceable, takes the disappearing thing to a whole new level.

Alexandra Lovell is a PI who has a niche business helping women vanish without a trace and begin new lives in safety. Is this really possible? As I researched this story, I learned that it is possible, but very tough to pull off because we leave digital footprints practically everywhere we go. Each time you buy something online, subscribe to a magazine, or rattle off your telephone number to some cashier at a store, you are giving complete strangers loads of personal information about yourself. Now imagine someone who wants to harm you knows where to look for all that.

In Untraceable, a woman on the run from her abusive husband finds herself in just this situation. Alex helps her client drop off the radar, but when she goes missing for real, Alex suspects foul play and turns to jaded, sexy homicide cop Nathan Devereaux for help.
