Of course the garden retailers like to have Calla lily bulbs out for sale as early as February but do not be tempted to plant them outside yet as the chances are that they will rot in the ground before the weather warms up! The Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) and its Secretariat, have been commended for assisting and working with the Pacific Islands News Association (PINA), over many years.  PINA President and NBC Managing Director, Kora Nou, said this when speaking at a meeting, with the PIF Secretariat, in Suva, Fiji on Thursday. Mr. Nou says  PINA was formed by Pacific Journalists to tell the Pacific stories, and he’s grateful that PIF recognized its role and working with it in the region. The media through PINA, helps to keep the forum accountable when it needs to, and also takes part in the forum’s celebrations, in its milestone achievements. Mr. Nou is currently attending the first proper PINA Board Meeting, since its election in Honiara in September 2022.
