PNG Police to announce major reshuffle in the Constabulary

 Police Commissioner David Manning has announced that a major Police reshuffle will be made soon based on individual performances of police officers. Commissioner Manning made this announcement during the 2022 National General Election Debrief Conference held in Lae, Morobe Province last week. The conference was attended by Deputy Commissioner Operation Anton Billie, Deputy Commissioner Administration Joanne Clarkson, acting Deputy Commissioner Specialist Operations Donald Yamasombi, Deputy Commissioner and Chief of Bougainville Police Service Francis Tokura, all Assistant Commissioners, Divisional and Provincial Police Commanders and Directors of the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary. PNG PM Marape announces his government's plan to help people Acquire urban Land

Prime Minister James Marape has urged Papua New Guineans not to illegally settle on untitled land in urban centres of the country. He said this today (November 6, 2022) when announcing an exciting plan by Government to help people acquire land in towns and cities starting in 2023. “I appeal to our people not to settle on land in urban centres that is untitled,” PM Marape said. “The Government is working on an exciting programme, spearheaded by Deputy Prime Minister and Lands Minister Hon. John Rosso, to properly organise all urban areas so that people with proper titles are living on land legally acquired. “I encourage our people not to just go and settle on any land which is not yours. “People are also advised not to enter into any transactions with so-called ‘traditional landowners’, in an informal arrangement, as you may be evicted by someone else who claims to be the ‘proper landowner’.” PM Marape said starting in 2023, the Government would acquire additional land in towns and citi

Alfa Romeo Tonale on sale here

The new Alfa Romeo Tonale has gone on sale in Ireland at a starting price of €49,995, writes Brian Byrne. The compact crossover is available with mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, and in two grades along with a ‘Speciale’ extra launch version.  All versions are automatic, with outputs of 160hp and 280hp respectively, the latter being AWD thanks to the electric motor on the rear axle.  The PHEV includes a 15.5kWh battery thats some 36pc bigger than that used in the Jeep Compass PHEV, to which the Tonale is closely related. The car kicks off the new Irish distribution by Gowan Auto, based in a purpose-built HQ at City West, Dublin. Currently there are three Alfa Romeo dealerships, in Dublin, Cork and Waterford. Plans are to increase this to a network of eight. Two other models are currently available, the Giulia large sedan and the Stelvio SUV which sits above the Tonale.

WHAT IS STRESS? According to WHO, stress is defined as any type of change that causes physical, emotional or psychological strain.  THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF STRESS?! Stress can be divided into two types, acute stress and chronic stress. Acute stress is short-term and tends to reduce after the problem is resolved. Chronic stress is long-term and dangerous. Chronic stress will affect our body mentally and physically over time. WHO CAN BE AFFECTED BY STRESS? Everyone can be affected by stress regardless of their age. Early childhood should have been filled with happy thoughts without any worries. Children as early as preschoolers can be affected by stress.  Teenage years or adolescence period is a very awkward phase for everyone since we are still exploring things and building our own identity.
