 Former Hela Provincial Administrator and United Resources Party candidate William Bando has been declared new Member elect for the Koroba Kopiago electorate this morning. Mr.Bando polled 36,587 votes to unseat MP for Koroba Kopiago and PNC party candidate Petrus Thomas. Thomas  trailed third place with 16,968 while Pangu party candidate Boby Yubi behind on second place with 17,568 votes.
