PNG Coffee Minister Committed to reviving coffee Industry and boost Coffee exports

 The new Minister for Coffee and Anglimp South Waghi MP Joe Kuli has commended the Marape-Rosso Government for its extraordinary decision to create two new portfolios, Coffee and Palm Oil, to be represented in Parliament. Minister Kuli says it depicts great thought and consideration of building PNG’s National Economy, by focusing on PNG’s renewable resources at a time when PNG is facing great economic challenges as a nation. “Our coffee export history speaks volumes of its importance. A rousing welcome for New Zealand PM Chris Hipkins at Port Moresby's Gordons Market

New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins was given a rousing welcome when he visited Gordons Market  in Port Moresby at 10am this morning. Not precisely a red carpet welcome, but the joy, laughter, cheers and energy of the people was enough to relay a message to the people of New Zealand, that their investment in gifting Gordons Market to PNG, has played a significant role in the empowerment of the people of PNG. As highlighted by NCD Governor Powes Parkop, who accompanied Prime Minister Hipkins, fresh fruits & vegetables from other parts of PNG are either shipped or air freighted to Gordons Market to meet the food demands of NCD residents. He said Gordons Market will continue to be the empowerment factor for small to medium enterprise and the informal sector.
