Advance PNG Party candidate Muguwa Dilu has been declared member-elect for Kundiawa/Gembogl electorate in Simbu Province. Mr. Dilu was declared this afternoon by the Returning Officer Michael Palma. This is the first declaration for Simbu Province in the 2022 National Election. Mr. Dilu polled 25,290 votes unseating William Gogl Onglo who polled 21,158 votes after the 22nd exclusion of Tobias Kulang. Speaking during his declaration, the member-elect pledged to continue on the good work of his predecessor, Mr. Onglo. Simbu expects to make more declarations tomorrow.
