BEST AND WORST COUNTRIES FOR VEGANS AFTER 1 YEAR OF TRAVELLING VEGAN

Looking for the best vegan-friendly countries? I’ve officially travelled the world* for one year as a vegan proving (in my mind at least) that if I can be vegan whilst moving around and not speaking the languages, you can definitely do it in your own home. (*When I say travelled the world, I mean North America, Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia, totally at 18 countries. It’s definitely not the whole world, but there was a good mix of west and east, poor and rich, English speaking and not, etc.) Here are those countries ranked from worst to best for vegan friendliness! Worst Countries for Vegans These next three countries are the ones I’ve found the hardest to be vegan in… and when I say vegan, I mean eating a plant- (and fungi) based diet as much as possible and doable , among other things (like not supporting zoos, aquariums or leather products, etc). Here we go: #18. Vegan Japan I found that Japan was one of the worst countries for vegans. They don’t even seem to have a su

Super Easy Growing Citrus from Seeds

Everyone (who is as like-minded as me) loves the idea of having citrus plants in their garden. Why? Because they are exotic, aspirational and just absolutely gorgeous looking. There is also the ‘I would love to grow my own lemon for gin and tonics’ cliche to be considered. However citrus plants are expensive and if you are not confident in looking after them going forward this could constitute a financial risk that you may not be willing to take. Be that as it may, growing citrus plants from seed is actually super easy and can be sown straight from the fruit once it is clear of pulp. There are a number of techniques that can be employed to grow citrus from seeds but in the accompanying video we will discuss the easiest and most straightforward method. If you have an even easier method to growing citrus from seeds then why not leave a message in the comments section of the video, we would love to hear from you. Notes on Notes Analysis: Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” is making me do this

Folks, I have some unfortunate news. Taylor is back on her bullshit . Now possibly more than ever. BUT, in a classic case of people latching on to the tangible surface details, online critics seem to be missing some of the deeper reasons why the song doesn’t work. Don’t get me wrong, as a piece of pop culture, “Look What You Made Me Do” is a misstep as well. It sounds like someone forgot that songs like “Blank Space” were supposed to be tongue-in-cheek reactions to tabloids portraying her as some kind of of floozy breaking men’s hearts and sleeping around. The internet has already chewed up and spit out the already-infamous “Why? Oh, cuz she’s dead!” spoken interlude for good reason—and that’s not even to mention the gossip about the song being about her and Kanye’s feud and her commodification of feminism despite being silent in the wake of the many recent crises of equality… and so on. I will leave those spicy meatballs to the many other people online that are way smarter than me and
