PNG Health Minister moves to adequately fund Medical Supplies and Drugs procurement

Funding of medical supplies and drug procurement will be among the priorities of the Papua New Guinea Health Minister’s 100 days plan. Dr. Lino Tom said he will ensure that medical supplies and drug procurement is adequately funded. In a Ministerial statement to Parliament yesterday, Dr. Lino Tom said drug procurement continues to be a big challenge, and he will work with the Health Department and development partners to explore options to improve drug procurement. He’s adamant to look at either strengthening the current drug procurement and supply management system or outsourcing to a reputable independent authority as a matter of priority, as recommended by the parliamentary Public Accounts Committee. “We have already commenced work on this. Opel to partner Forever Young 2023 music festival

Opel is to be the official car partner to the Forever Young Festival 2003, at Palmerstown House Estate in Naas from 14-16 July, writes Brian Byrne. Acts confirmed for the festival include Erasure’s Andy Bell, Bananarama, Jason Donovan, Soul II Soul, Tony Hadley, Billy Ocean, Midge Ure, Go West, Hothouse Flowers, Cry Before Dawn, and Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey. For further details see foreveryoung.ie .  The third year of the Festival, attendance is capped at 20,000 per day and facilities include luxury glamping, hot showers and golf buggy transport. The music is 1980s which makes it very much an adults-focused event. Tropical Gardens UK: Exotic Garden November Walk-Round

Well, we have finally made the last walk-round video of the year and the shine has definitely come of of our once lovely tropical effect, exotic garden! However that us the reality of growing cold-hardy exotic plants. There is very little happening in the spring then you get an amazing summer and autumn before most of the stock runs out of steam. So it time for a tidy up to keep things tidy for the winter, plus its a great time to come up with any plant moves to positions which will show them to their best. Now come next March we will be planting up a new range of exotic plants to show you and hopefully have fews tasty morsels breaking through the soil which we can show you in a possibly the first new video of 2023!
