This is a camouflaged version of the next Volkswagen ID car, the ID.7 large saloon which will debut this year along with a tourer version, writes Brian Byrne. The car is the key reveal for the maker at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, opening to the public today. It’s the first time in six years that VW has exhibited at the CES, which has become a showcase for high-tech cars from several manufacturers. The ID.7 will have a rated range of 700km, and is expected to be available at the end of this year for 2024 deliveries in Ireland. Prices and specifications will be provided closer to that time. 

Once we have completed our winter protection of Tree Ferns we tend to forget about them until the spring when we have to take it off again. Now, depending on the prevailing temperatures, weather and type of protection provided a certain amount of maintenance may be necessary – especially if the fronds are wrapped. This is so important, especially in years where there are unseasonably low temperatures or late springs otherwise your tree fern can struggle to get back to conditions and in extreme cases severely damage the plant.
